Queen Cove

THE PROPERTY

We have 60 acres to explore.  You can do so by road, trail, or through the bushes. With your kayak, follow the estuary as far as you can. Discover our streams and end up at our lake.  Make your way to Huckleberry Hill, the highest point on our property, and replenish with huckleberries while enjoying the 360-degree view.

At low tide, take a meander on our 200-metre wide clam beach and continue along the shoreline as far as the tide allows.

The property and surrounding area in the cove is loaded with possibilities for exploring nature and learning about the history of past peoples and the way they lived.  The remains of a salmon cannery, pilchard reduction plant, general store, cabins, logging, and silviculture all speak to the rich history of the cove.
